After having a particular bout of perfectionism which was caused for many reasons I decided that the best method of ridding myself of these tendencies in the short term was to create something that I believe to be an ideal test of perfectionism - polytope drawing. As before, this is the shadow of a 6 dimensional polytope/tesseract/whatever you want to call it. Since we are incapable of visualizing what a 4+ dimensional object looks like a typical method is to draw the shadow that the object would cast if it were a wire frame. This is 6 dimensions. Beautiful, isn't it? Obsession with symmetry is often present in people with OCPD and I am no exception. This is what I love. This is perfection.
I have before, but I'm not really good with curves and circles. That puts a whole new level of obsessive measurements and drawing and perfection into the work that would potentially make me go insane. Maybe one day I'll be twisted enough that I need to go that far, though. Thanks for the fave, btw.
The Polytope S7 is done! Enjoy. I'll be drawing it again because it's sloppy, but I can't say when that one will be finished. I'm going to take more time doing it so I don't make any mistakes.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
