I think a lot of people struggle with what I've struggled with creatively post-school/higher education; if you didn't pursue art as a career choice but instead did it as a hobby to pass the time in school it can be remarkably hard to find the time and energy to continue it when you're no longer trapped in a place and need to pass the time. I rarely draw or write when I am home and when I do I often find myself greatly disappointed in the quality of my work. Odd as it is I just can't find a way around that. I'm sure a dedicated artist would just keep drawing or a writer would just keep writing and improve via practice no matter the circumstanc

Not sure why particularly anyone watches me as I largely just use DeviantArt as a creative inspiration gallery at this point but I figured I may as well start using it again. I've evolved over the years I've been "inactive" here and am finally at the point in my life where I can comfortably write various scenes and short stories semi-frequently. I've recently begun a blog on tumblr for a creative writing exercise I've been planning for the better part of three years and also have a few other segments and scenes I've dabbled with when I couldn't focus or make progress on my first novel.
